Named for the waterfall over which part of it rests, Fallingwater is an elegant residence designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Once intended as a nature retreat, the house has been turned into a museum, with guided tours available to the public. Visitors can see the various rooms of the house and learn about Wright's innovative technique of merging both the interior and exterior with the natural landscape. The house in a distinctly rural part of Fayette County, in the Laurel Highlands of the Allegheny Mountains.
